This Sunday at Mountain View & An Important Annoucement

The text for tomorrow will be Isaiah 11. This gives us such hope because Christ is the Remnant. Abiding in Christ is to be saved, safe, and fruitful (John 15:4-5).

When all else is taken away, Christ remains. Those who remain with Him, remain!

We are singing this tomorrow, an interpretation of Isaiah 11  by Calvin Seerveld.

Two Announcements:

First of all, on Sunday, August 1st, we are having an all-church bbq and bonfire at Josh and Lindi Cowan’s place. It will begin at 4:30, and can run a bit late because the next day is a holiday (for most of us).

Meat and drink will be provided, but each family is asked to bring a side, salad, or dessert to share.

If you have already RSVP’d on Facebook, we know you are coming. If you aren’t on Facebook, please contact me soon as possible this week so we have an idea of how many are coming. We will send a map to you if you are coming.

Bring your lawn chairs!

Second announcement, one that we will repeat weekly from now into the foreseeable future.

We will not ask you about your vaccination status at Mountain View. You are welcome here whether or not you are vaccinated.

As with church closures and other anti-worship mandates, it is not within the sphere of civil government to demand that church segregate or ban anyone based upon vaccination status.
